Welcome to Coupon Quest!

Some of you were led here by my posts on facebook; Some were led by word of mouth; While still others were led here because you saw Myself or one of my 'clients' at work couponing and wanted to know more about it, how YOU, too, could save as much as I or they did! You've found the right place! My name is Tarrah, and I came across couponing with the help of a friend. I desperately needed some means of saving on groceries, what with 4 children and two adults on one income. Since I've begun my venture into couponing, I've gotten to where my weekly grocery bill is $30 or LESS! I have even been PAID to take over $130.00 worth of items out of the store- NO JOKE, THEY Paid ME!!! I am currently offering a Workshop, where you will learn the ins and outs of couponing. There is a LOT more to it than just clipping and using now and then. The workshop is currently being offered at $15/person. I am also offering a discount of $5 per person you bring- (So if you bring 1 full priced friend, you will be $10, bring 3 full priced friends, you are FREE); Because times are tough for most of us, I also am offering a limited amount of Scholorships for those who really NEED this workshop, but cannot afford it. Necessary items will be provided. And for the FIRST TIME- Childcare will be provided at an additional $2.50/child for the 1.5-2 hr session. There will also be at least One major giveaway. I hope I've whetted your appetite for knowledge on couponing, and that the Workshop will satisfy! Thank you for visiting, looking forward to hearing from you. God Bless!
*To reserve your spot at the next workshop, Scheduled for Monday, November 9th 2009 and For additional information; Please contact Tarrah at CouponQuest@embarqmail.com. (If you are unable to make it to this workshop, but are definately interested, ask me about a Personal Consultation!)

Another AWESOME Trip!

Not pictured are 4 Quatu-matic Dishwasher Dispenser starter kits reg. price $8.99/ea.

Total saved $181.01

Total Pre-Tax $.84

Sales Tax $2.74

Grand Total OOP $3.58

I FINALLY did the math to figure out JUST HOW MUCH I am paying myself to take the time extreme couponing. MY totals came to $25/hr if I counted just my coupon savings (because this is where the time stealer lies); if factoring total savings times the time spent from first looking at the ad to paying cashier, I am paying myself $34/hr! Yep...makes it worth it!

Rejuvenation!

This trip Rejuvenated me. No- I didn't get it free, or get paid to get it; what rejuvenated me about it, is that I got some pretty high dollar items for very little. What excites me most is that the Olive Oil alone costs $10.99/each (of course, it was BOGO); so to say that I only spent $4.40 out of pocket on everything seen here is just SUCH a 'high'!! What's even better is that MOST of the items are GOOD FOR YOU! I LOVE that for sure! I saved a total of $123.14. That is OVER a 96% savings!!

$192.13 AND 2 Movie tickets for $7.06 OOP!

Great Trips this week! A total of $192.13 PLUS Two free Adult Movie Tickets (almost $20 value at my theater) AND only two more items to get for my $10 Nabisco rebate! All of this for an OOP of $7.06! I expected to be paid for my 2nd trip (first pict shown), but I decided to buy two more cereals for the 2nd movie ticket (no coupons) as well as the 2 Ritz crackers and 2 Planters nuts for the rebate, which I had no coupons for either. I am happy, though, with what was accomplished. Next workshop to teach how I do this is November 9th, 2009- see above for more info!

Another Successful Workshop!

The VERY HAPPY winner of the OverStuffed Green Bag!
The moment she realized she won

This past workshop went very well, and I KNOW everyone walked out of there with a LOT more knowledge than they came in with. That's the point, of course! They also all walked out with a gift from myself, and one lucky lady walked out with a Greenbag overflowing with Groceries, personal need items, and more! She was VERY glad that she was standing behind me in the grocery store that very day, and that I overheard her mention how she needed to do what I was doing. This particular trip was really not a great one, I saved $89.00 and spent just over $25.00- but she was intrigued, and so I gave her a flyer for the workshop that was happening THAT evening, and to my surprise, she came....WITH four other people!!! THAT was a divine appointment for sure! God is so good like that! I am going to add a few pictures soon, as I am not at my own computer at the moment. So come back to see Picts of the winner and what she won!

This is a TOTAL of over $280.00 in groceries between the two pictures. I paid NOTHING technically, because I used my FUll Plate Rebate of $30.00. Had I not used the rebate cards, though, I would have only paid $24.00 and change! Not too bad, I'd say. I made three seperate trips, which made for an extra $20 savings (using multiple $5/$25 coupons I would not have been able to use with only ONE transaction.) I'm in a hurry, so this is it for now, I may come back and edit to add more later. GOD IS GREAT!!!

SUCCESS! First Workshop update

The First workshop took place October 5th and was, by my standards, a WONDERFUL success! I got a lot of positive feedback, as well as having over 50% of the attendees signed up for the weekly Clipping sessions I'm also offering! One of the attendees won a Publix Green bag jam packed full of groceries, cleaning products, personal hygene items, and household items! She was THRILLED! I just wish I had gotten a picture! Next time I will remember the camera. Three others won their choice of two or three items from a table filled with all sorts of items. Everyone went home with a freebie. I also forgot to make a blurb about the Baked Greats cupcakes that were served; Designer Cupcakes at affordable prices! If you didn't get one, you missed out!!
If you missed the last workshop, do not fear; you CAN make it to the next one! On Tuesday, October 20th at 7pm held at Higher Ground Christian Fellowship on 441 in Fairbanks Plaza. As always, email me at couponquest@embarqmail.com for more information. I'll see you on the 20th!

By far the best Trip

Paid to take home a BUNCH of Groceries! THIS is the kind of shopping I could really get used to! Publix paid me $4.36 to take home $139.14 worth of items. Yes, if you do that well, they WILL pay you! Why? They get paid from the coupons, so why not give you the extra money!? It's the ethical thing to do. This is definitely NOT the norm, but once in awhile, this can happen for you, too!
